Prepare/Enrich assessments and worksheets are available for pre-marital counseling or on-going work. Sessions are tailored to focus on couple’s mutually identified areas for growth.
Group Therapy
This is a 90 minute process group for men ages 18+
Currently offering a mens process group focused on personal issues and goals to be addressed in a group setting. Potential topics covered are pressures of masculinity, sexuality and body image concerns, vulnerability and mindfulness for stress reduction.
Online Therapy
55 minute sessions are available online, using a HIPAA compliant tool, such as Vsee or Zoom.
Methodology
As a therapist, I’ll help you whether you’re straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, black, white, young, or old. I’ll work with you regardless of your faith and regardless of how small or large your problems are. I will focus on making you feel safe, comfortable, and confident. As a client you will likely find me using humor and relatable stories, but always striving to meet your specific needs in the present moment. Clients often find our sessions to be helpful in relaxing and recharging.

In addition to my professional training and experience as a counselor, I understand how difficult it can be to overcome worry, fear, and pain. I had a challenging childhood, and was also forced to overcome my fears and other obstacles when “coming out” as a young adult.
My childhood desires for safety, stability and affirmation helped to shape my personality and my deep empathy for others. My personal experiences along with my therapeutic approach help me in expressing compassion for your pain as I help you to heal it. Research shows that the relationship between client and therapist is the most important factor in helping people overcome hurdles and improve their lives. To this end, I am dedicated to creating a safe, comfortable space and a trusting relationship as you work towards achieving your goals.
